I was looking at a Ford Lightning EV that Parks Canada bought. Driving range was 220 miles, and this was late fall. In cold weather this can be cut in half as the EV has heating infrastructure for keeping warm. So basically it just doesn't work too well because an electric plug isn't always available.
Great news we're getting 50,000 a year from China. The EV lovers are really excited about this news, the other 90% might be rolling their eyes.

They closed bridge I use at times.

Ice jams are nothing new around here. But can stress bridges and some water gets displaced and needs a place to go to.
Spring flooding sees erosion and scouring of areas of what passes for river delta so the minor flooding is no big deal either.
But water over a bridge would be..
This river saw log jams back in the logging area. A form of early entertainment of sorts.
Part of the video is near a town where an early (earliest known in the area) sawmill was started. (Where a creek enters this river.) Followed by water powered saws about everywhere one could be run.
A major dam was removed in the town back in the late 60's or early 70's.

Snow blizzard forecast for last week. All customers went nuts. We sold meat in the triple digits for sales. Double as normal goes was a crazy week to say the least. I’m still having leg pain but now in my left hip. I had a fall in the meat cooler. I’m not sure what happened I woke up on the floor face down.
