Happy Friday everyone. Still cold in Florida. Last weeks freeze killed a lot of my plants. I'm waiting for warmer weather to begin assessment of what may live or is gone. I had a lot of orchids growing on trees that died. Banana trees gone too. It will all be fine, we get this crap every 10 or so years. Heading to my favorite dive bar for lunch today with a buddy. Drink, eat, flirt with the bar maid & come home to a knap!

Saw your home of Florida on our news yesterday. Was a story on the iguanas falling out of the trees from the cold. They were going around picking them up off of roads and parking lot areas putting them in a trailer. It must be weird to see happen. Some were pretty big units though, wouldn't want one landing on me from a height. Do you ever hear of people getting hurt by them falling?

No, not iguanas. That doesn't happen often. Let's hope a lot of the Burmese Pythons froze as well. They are a much bigger problem than iguanas.

They're bad enough huh, now a parasite in them.
"Pythons carry a deadly parasitic worm that feeds on the lungs of native snakes and has spread to at least 34 Florida counties."
Your wildlife people need to find a way to get rid of those snakes. Something that makes them unable to breed or something.

Buddy showed his little Rock he found in Dawson Creek area, years back.

Won't sell it, but has me pricing a 28 gram 14Kt chain.
I called around one buyer offered $60 a gram.
I offered $100 a gram....they're thinking 🤔

I quit about 6 mths ago. Just didn't want to risk the chance of fentanyl. I'd grow my own but can't find seeds. Suppose I could find some online but that would raise a flag and we're not a legal state yet I don't think. Oh well, more rum it is 🍾

Do they lace it with fentanyl?
I remember here yrs ago, 25 ish, stuff was going around that had been sprayed with something, dodgy weed that had near to no effect by itself, they'd spray so it did something. Trouble was that along with inhaling an unknown substance it was making some who smoked it go troppo and end up in psych wards. Hash too in the 80s got cut at times with putty! Dogs, people were unwittingly putting putty in their pipes.

Hard to tell 100% by the photo but the nugget has a crystalline look about it. Moved a little way from the source rounding some edges but its still retained that crystalline structure look in places.
Could be pseudo crystal look but they too look really cool. Nice.

Just watched the old flick Training Day, where the cop got the other one to smoke some weed and it was laced with PCP.
I wouldn't buy anything from anyone now a days unless I trusted the source, too many crazy ass drugs that would mess a person up bad.

I know how to eradicate those Burmese Pythons pretty quickly. Put a one thousand dollar bounty on each one delivered to the FWC. The Mexicans will have everyone of them caught/killed in a year. It may sound racist but it's fact. Put a high dollar value on any wildlife and it's doomed.

Got a project tonight. Couple years back my grandson sent this 50 lb. box
home with the Mrs....says it's some kind of "gaming chair". The box has been
sitting around in my garage, gathering dust, and since my own chair is busted
(has been for 5 years..) I'm gonna put this bad boy together tonight.

Does look like all the parts are there, however the "instructions" are in some
kind of foreign hieroglyphics, so, I'll just have to wing it..

It would probably be the most efficient way. Foxes here were fairly under control until they scrapped the bounty. The cost to farming though and the knock on effect, then the wildlife killed far outweighs the money they paid on their scalps.
We noticed in the past few yrs farmers hanging up more of those they shoot. Its always been a thing here but they're doing it more often to highlight the numbers that are around. I can imagine the greenies flipping right out as they drive past them.

He was probably referring to the quartz inclusions in it catching the light.
