River rock wal in the back of the ditch, I was braking, steering... Car was pretty much stopped as it hit the ditch. Laptop went flying... still had chat (from here with youse guys) from a few minutes ago loaded on it ! or it hit the door hard enough to start chat on it's own. I have taken this corner many times before wet roads suck ! I'm going to go try it again and get it right !!
Maybe slower and in the Tundra....

I could sell the house and property !!!! No...... Even if I had the money it would be a hard pass.

I probably got more weight in sterling than the 5 lots that sold in the sale for $2530.00

I was standing there and this guy walked in and handed the head woman 5 small bundles of spoons.
She just about kissed him.
The company hid the silver in the microwave oven he bought. (Forgot to take it out)
He got home, came back and returned it to the auction folks.
Honest man he was.

In and around 1966 my sister's 1st husband was a runner. He had a 9mm machine gun, and this 50 cal. In the trunk of his car.

Still Remember going to the gravel pit while he shot off a few clips through the 9mm.

That Brass was really hot when we grabbed to pick up some souvenirs.

I met Barry at the office when I bought a large lot of gold jewelry. I had to weigh and test every piece which took 2 hours. I returned $750 worth back to them.
He started to question me regarding my own history.
I asked him how they tested the gold.
"Oh we just look for the Kt mark"

There's too many fakes out there Barry, nothing can be trusted.
Buy yourself a tester or at least a testing kit.
One would think he'd have that knowledge at least after all those years.

So Gordon's operation is estates or Downsizing. One stop shop, sorting, listing, selling, moving, real estate, and garbage.

They sold 1/2 of the original operation to MaxSold which runs the online auctions.
If they screw up I get compensation for the incorrect listing, weights, counts, condition.

After 15 years of buying off them they've come a long ways.
I look for lots like this one. The things they miss on cataloging correctly.

I have 3 of them, cleaned a bit appears to be brass colored. Most of the lamps/shades/sockets and art deco stuff seems to be from the 30's. I need to quit bringing home stuff ! The lady that gave me this stuff said she has a storage unit full. I can have it she said as she got the storage unit when she bought the house... how that works I'm not sure.

I have some vintage globes also that came with the lot. These filigree shades aren't as cool as those copper sconce lights that the most excellent ARC helped date and provide facts. I think the Captain might be better then member "Red Coat" although that Brit knows EVERYTHING ! Just ask him !!

Yesterday I stopped in got the ears lowered. I had to turn around in the grocery/thrift store lot.
Thought gee lived up in the area for 13 yrs never stopped in.
Bought this gold wash stuff for $12.00.
In the lot were 3 pairs of 14Kt earrings.
9.9864 grams or $1174.00
Having a great weekend of getting free unexpected profit.
