Dirt road is mostly muddy and getting rutty and chattery.
In want of a harrow dragged upon it.
Harrow is under a snowbank insulated with dirt and road gravel.
( Not much of an excuse for not being out working on the road. But better than none.)
40 degrees and fog/mist with rain expected. If not today then tomorrow. Or both.

Long range forecast gets colder again after this false spring.
But winter is starting to slip.

Pair of crows out front this morning.
One as sentry up in a tree and the other on the ground with a head extended full throated double caw.
Trying to stir up a reaction from anything/one maybe to get an idea who/what is around.
I suspect they are looking at real estate options.

My invention is reaching maturity, and its time to do work !! I will head to Orlando in July for the ICAST show. The worlds largest international fishing tackle and equipment trade show !! This is where the deals get done, and everyone in the fishing world is in attendance. I hope to garner interest, take orders, cut deals, or even sell the whole package to a major tackle company. Initial response has been positive, and testing has proved it effective, and efficient!! Its a small niche market, but it should dominate this niche almost completely.....it is the better mouse trap so to speak for this tool. So here we go !! Hoping to change big game fishing forever, and make our tool the #1go to option for dealing with lage dangerous game fish releases!! It is a leap fwd in this game. We are the first to have a release knife/and tagger that snaps onto a pole !! Also the first to use common Stanley utility blades instead of hard to obtain expensive custom blades. The bottle opener looks like an add on feature for your beer, but it is actually a lure retriever. You flip the tool over and use the bottle opener to capture the lure, and slide it up the line to your hand, then flip tool to blade side and cut fish free......wish me luck...if it succeeds financially then it off to the patent attorney for ideas #2 and 3 and I can officially where the title of "inventor" !!

China is trawling the ocean clean and commercial fishing is allowed the lions share of the fish. Sport fishing people meanwhile spend insane money but have no DC lobby to promote it. You hear of one fishery after another collapsing due to overfishing.

You saying that reminds me of one customer that just couldn't find a nugget but loved detecting. He just didn't get it, gold detecting. He reluctantly sold his PI. I found out he lived near the coast and said hey why not have a go at jewelry on the beaches mate, plenty of wog beaches near you and they love their jewelry. So he got a detector for the beaches and 3 months later actually drove up to the shop in the bush just to say hi and show me pictures of handfuls of gold chains and rings. He said "you were right about doing the wog beaches" with a big grin. He's probably found a fortune by now. He wasn't good on gold but wow did he slot right in the beach scene.
Wogs are non English speaking europeans, a slang term for them. We're using hate speech now if we publicly call someone a wog racially vilifying them. But it never was that, we called them wogs and they called us skippys. My wife is Italian, I call her a wog several times each week and she calls me a stupid skippy. 🤗

We get the Japanese and Chinese monster fishing ships here as well as a never ending conveyer belt of Indonesian fishing boats plundering our fish stocks. I showed previously here what our clueless govt does with them, refitting 10 times better boats than they came with here and gifting them to them 😖
