Well Titan had a stick accident.
The Mrs was walking him, throwing a stick and for some reason he ran and jammed it into the back of his palate.
She pulled it out and we looked and it's pretty raw looking but not too bad.
He's certainly sappy and sucking up the poor puppy sympathetic petting.
So 5.5 days under our belts.
(Seems a tad longer)🤣
He gives the cats lots of space, they've even touched noses.
2nd attempt will garner a hiss, and he either just looks or walks away.
The next walk by he ignores them and they :icon_scratch:

So the little bad habits are falling away quickly, and the good habits are taking over quickly.
Come in from a walk, sit on the door runner, and get the paw cleaning.
Now he sits, paw comes up automatically, then the other, then he stands to get the back ones done.
Simple things like that makes a big difference.
Looking like he might of gained a bit also.

Ha! You didn't just get a non-empty dog you got one with extra pup in it too.
"for some reason he ran and..." Yep. There's a reason . L.o.l..
You can tell him not to carry sticks lengthwise. But he'll figure it out eventually. You'll know because he'll carry a big one crossways all proud.
A German man in a long ago neighborhood had a Shepard that carried about a eight foot oak thin (3 inch maybe) post.
It visited by itself from about a block away at times ,often after squirrels. But it didn't bring it's favorite "stick".

You cannot share any more snow please. We're still white from Friday's blast.
The Mrs wants a few sap buckets up, so that's the chore for the AM.
No sap will be happening at 28F feeling like 19F.
But it will take sometime to find drill bit, buckets, spirals.
In the meantime I will fire up the Devil Forge and play for awhile trying to sweat off some pure silver.
Now is the test on what I have studied over these past months.

Good morning everybody
Yesterday hunt, 2 wheats 1 buffalo and a merc at the very end of the hunt. I thought I was going to get skunked on silver.

I hiked up this creek a couple hundred feet.

A couple of grams, 2 half days of prospecting. I have tested spots in this creek before I brought a sluice this time !!

I started to do a melt off my contacts, was doing the :icon_scratch:

wondering why I was at the lower limit of melting silver.
Figured it out, propane bottle nearly empty. 🤣
So I went to plan B got the 300 gallon tank from the sugar shack.
Tires on the 3000 were pancakes.
So I filled all the tires up, first time in 12 yrs.
Guy drove up and wanted to buy a broken wood splitter.
$350 and he's picking it up tomorrow.
Tapped one tree-can't find the spirals.
