Got my camp trailer all packed up and ready to go!
Heading out to no-mans-land to look for points for a few days. It's been awhile, needing some solitude.
Barring any unforseen problems I shall be back on here Friday morning.

Well, that sucks buttermilk.....It was one year ago, yesterday, that my

Hopefully, the homeowners insurance will be of help?

Unfortunately State Farm won't cover anything caused by a "slow leak".
Their definition of a slow leak; "any water damage".

One has to really wonder why insurance companies are needed-the book of why a claim is denied or limited is probably the thickest set of excuses ever written.
Up here they have the act of DOG clause..........

2 stray cats I'm feeding. Both look a little rough but are very friendly. The old Siamese has most of its teeth missing so I get those little soft packets, he loves them.

I got my Haskaps covered. Had to get some of the fencing wire off the fence line.
I got 4 ticks, finished securing the net to the ground.
Showered before taking off with " Can you throw my clothes in the drier?"
The Mrs got 5 more ticks out of the lint screen.
Going to carpet bomb the fence line next.

No Dragonflies were harmed in this netting.

Must of taken 100+ out before I closed it all up.

Instead of 2 tunnels I combined the netting for one large 160 ft x 35 ft

(I've taken the day off to recover from yesterdays power washing a utility trailer . Everything today looks like too much work.)
What is the origin of the wire fence with the wraps I need to learn? I can see exactly where the fencing pliers finish a wrap.

Graduated page wire 4' high doubled. 3ft Steel ground cloth buried 1 ft.
Next project is pull up all the electric fence cut all the grass. Maybe burn it also. 800ft takes sometime up.
But it needs to be powered up before the strawberries 🍓 ripen.
Set Racoon trap.

June bugs are out now, Titan discovered. The toad needs to jump away from that sniffing dog.😁

I don't find anything like your fence.
Paige: I find woven wire.
Cattle type with biggest gaps still doesn't show the gorgeous wraps yours has.
