I find mice quite often just dead, driveway, shop floor, yard.

I have a big tub with a little EvapORust in the bottom. There are half a dozen mice that apparently jumped in and couldn't jump back out. Strangely, they have not decomposed. I think Evaporust must be like the LaBrea tar pits.

We often find water buckets with 2 or mice floating around. They just get fatter and uglier.

take a 5 gal bucket, drill holes on both sides at the top, place an empty water bottle on a stiff wire (so it can spin) positioned at the top through the holes... smear peanut butter on the bottle...place a board as a ramp to the edge of the bucket, put 6 inches of water in the bucket... the mice run up the ramp, jump to the bottle, get spun into the water and drown.... this is a mouse trap I have used for years.

Pulled the 800ft of electric fencing up and hang it on the page wire fence.
Only 5 ticks. 4 crawlers and the dryer caught the other.
Got some new tick/ mosquito spray yesterday. Worked good on the mosquitos in the hoop house tonight.
The tick test will be tomorrow when I cut around the garden fence.

How's the water leak project coming along?

Well...I went over the estimate from the remediation company, $5,800 to destroy all the cabinetry in the bathroom, tear out the bedroom side wallboard, then dry everything out...Oh hell no!
I cut out all the wet wallboard, sprayed everything lightly with a little chlorine bleach with water, and set up a bunch of fans with the windows open and shut the door.
I'm sure it'll be fine in a couple of days.
I'm going detecting in Lake Tahoe tomorrow to celebrate my $ savings.

I cut out all the wet wallboard, sprayed everything lightly with a little chlorine bleach with water, and set up a bunch of fans with the windows open and shut the door.
I'm sure it'll be fine in a couple of days.

If you can get sunlight on it, sunlight will kill mold.

Yesterdays afternoon storm made a mess. Tonight should pretty much be a replay.
The dog show ladyfriend is headed for had most it's outdoor tents upset ect.
Here at home I'd closed the patio umbrella and the plants were taken off rails.

Must be the resident doe and her fawns browsed hostas about three feet away through the wall while I slept.
And the weeping cherry tree. Annnd. Well everything almost looks good on the buffet at times if you're a deer it seems.
