It's a learning tool for folks.
Leave the paper wasp nests and they become food for the woodpeckers in the winter.
Every nest us raided and the cells are cleaned out over the winter months.
I guess it's just keeping things in balance.

Some folks around me shoot the Fox Every chance they get. I Leave it alone and I just build better enclosures.
Folks have a never ending problem it seems, I haven't had an issue for a few years now. (Knock on wood

Out here in the mountains it's not all that uncommon to have rock slides blocking roads.
Here in my area, the North Cascades Highway (US Hwy 20) is still closed, and has been since
the snows got too deep to plow. It is always closed in mid-winter, but is generally opened back
up no later than mid-April. This year there was a big slide, and they've been working non-stop
to get it cleaned up plus scale off rock that is waiting to slide.

This is a major hwy. that goes over the Cascade mtn's and connects Western and Eastern
Wa. A major vacation thoroughfare that brings a years worth of revenue to the small towns,
and they are *hoping* to have it open by July 4th.
