Oh ya I picked up a 12 pack of non medicated Turkey chick's yesterday.
All snuggled in under the heat lamp.

Good morning!☕️ Tornadoes again last night. Passed just north of me. Power went out at 6pm and just came back on at 4am. Generator ran all night.

Good morning!☕️ Tornadoes again last night. Passed just north of me. Power went out at 6pm and just came back on at 4am. Generator ran all night.

Twas a wild one.
A band of storms from the S.W. (from Chicago area or above it) just kept forming and streaming N.E. to my area.
Late night waiting for it to calm down enough to get the dogs out before they bedded down for the (short) night.

Three days ago New Mexico experienced tremors ranging from 2.8 to 3.9 on the Richter scale. I felt the 'thump' all the way down here in Luna County.

Making toast this morning and I see an ant. No problem, then another, and another, count was 9.
I left a pile of bodies for the workers to clean up.
Some diatomaceous earth is on the to do list now.

Went to check of the turkey chicks at the end of the day, and found one laying on its back doing the funky chicken away from the heat lamp.
So I water boarded it a few times, it shook its head. I held it up under the heat lamp for awhile.
Then set it down, and it was rocking, so back to get its beak dunked in the water again, up under the lamp again.
So then it started to chirp the dark colour on the back started to turn fluffy yellow again, it walked over into the heat source.
This morning all seemed good as 10 were still sleeping, and 2 were doing the turkey staring at nothing act.

That turkeys still exist can be a mystery at times.
Maybe turkey hens step on chicks and stimulate them enough at times...

As a kid it was agreed turkey chicks were not allowed out in the rain because they are so stupid they will look up in a heavy rain and drown.

It's not nice to call animals stupid.
Turkey chicks are stupid!
