Good morning!☕️ Rain again. I’ve lost track how much we’ve gotten this month. Lake Shelbyville is now 10’ over normal summer pool. This has closed all but a few boat launch ramps. The lake was built for flood control and it’s doing just that. The boaters think it’s for recreation, which they suddenly lost. The uproar will start soon with the 4th holiday coming!😝

Agree there's no shortage of water this year it seems.
Though the city of Kingston has implemented watering restrictions.
I find it entertaining to hear the radio
channels spewing the super El Nino forecasts.

Meanwhile Parks Canada which controls the Rideau Canal system is changing the flows everyday, they actually do a great job.

The water is still flowing over the top of the dam here.
Which happens every year.

We're kind of lucky for water control on the lower system. 1 meter from low to high. (3.28ft)
