There seems to be a bit of a water ditch forming down my hill behind the shop.
And the job ahead in repairs.

I could lie and say it's only 2" deep, but if I said closer to a foot I probably wouldn't be too far off.
Now what to do, carve it way deeper, fill with 3-4" washed stone?
Having the pit run going down into the forest isn't helping either.
Note: Add this to the list of things to do.

So hydro drops it, sort if cuts it up, leaves it.
Township drives by it, turns around in the driveway and leaves it.
I guess tree removal isn't in their pay grade.

Summer rains are great if they spread out over weeks or so. Not all in 30-45 minutes.

Power company said 10pm today. Then today they updated it to 2 pm, then 4,6,8 now 10pm.
Went up to buddies place to check on my saw. 1/4 road 5 large trees had been removed from the lines.
$hit show out there.
Generator is getting tired, doesn't do electronics well.

Well I decided to go fill up the generator for the night run.
Finished put the gas and funnel away, walked over to pull the cord-click.
POWER!
Something that we all take for granted-electricity.....
