A hawk flying around the yard yelling and hollering.
Must be trying to flush some prey.

My Red Tailed Hawk that sits around on the garden posts can get noisy at times. Then again the mid day chat session amongst the Ravens is a tad interesting.
The Hawk is nowhere to be seen when they're around.

I've crows as opposed to ravens.
A pair out back (ten acres deep maybe) I suspect had a nest as they were pretty quiet around nesting time despite being seen feeding. Then the cussing kind of noise when young were suspected of leaving the nest.
That querulous type sound of conversation is now to the East in another wooded area they might roost in after leaving the nest.
Still not hearing the more social among crows in general calls.
And they didn't show up to ague the hawk. Though I suspect they will if it makes the property a habit.
I did see a big hawk fly up from the ground a while (week maybe) back empty taloned. Like it missed something.

Ha ha. I wrote too soon.
Hawk is now over by where crows seem to roost. Yelling from what might be a stationary position and has multiple crows barking at it now.

Greetings on a Tues. morning....

For the past 10 days the local native tribes have been running their noisy-assed
boats up and down the river 24/7....less than 100' from my bedroom windows. It's
Sockeye season, and they get their fair share.

It's only once a year...bit still...

A 2-stroke outboard with a jet pump on it is freakin' loud...I could use a good
nights (or days) sleep.
