Instant hoist.

Worked better hitting it harder 💪
It dlid instead of crawling over it.
But I will keep this new fangled hoist idea 💡 for future reference. 🤣

Created more work for myself using the forks on the loader to get the flat tired golf cart out of the woods.
Things moved in multiple places. Some ion a puzzling matter that need worked back to near original positions. While rear frame is still bent far from prior golf course use where it must have got rear ended awful hard.. repeatedly.

Put new seats on it the other day after securing rear leaf spring I almost pulled.
New springs are on order instead.
I'll have to get a battery picture someday. It's pretty funny.

A bit like this. Sloped due to frame angle.
Worse ; mine has a potentiometer switch for the throttle pedal. Right in the way of lowering/sliding the battery towards the front more. (And I defended it from getting run over by the battery with a c-clamp to guard it.)
Seat baaaarrrely closes.
Back wheels spin if not careful on take off.
Maybe 450 pounds shed by going to single newer style battery.
Far greater cruising range and efficiency.

This one found online shows a little slope. Not that it matters really.
Mine has to be higher in the back due to the potentiometer being on the frame rail where this picture has the battery sitting in front.
Front lower left of battery in picture shows a grey square that is just the frame rail showing. A couple inches back is where my glide switch/potentiometer is bolted through frame..
(Next battery will have smaller dimensions if this one ever gets replaced.)

Good afternoon !
Perfect 'banana belt ' weather again. The what ? someone may ask.
I looked at a job upriver an hour ago and it was low 80's, I always look/bid jobs upriver taking the Firebird on the twisty roads and can and will scare tourists ! chetco, Winchuck and the Rogue are the river roads preferred.

Brookings, Oregon is known as the "Banana Belt" of the Pacific Northwest because of its unusually mild, sunny, and warm microclimate compared to the rest of the Oregon Coast.

• Temperatures: Winter temperatures often sit comfortably in the mid-50s to mid-60s, while summers average in the pleasant 70s. It can sometimes be up to 20°F warmer here than in surrounding coastal areas.

• The Chetco Effect: Meteorologists use this term for the local weather pattern where offshore wind flows compress and warm up as they move down the Chetco River valley toward Brookings.

Morning all....and yes, I know it's afternoon, but I started much earlier..

Wife at the ER with her caregiver for low blood pressure..she messed up
and took a blood a pressure pill that shouldn't have been with her other meds.
Paramedics came and took her, and I'll be leaving to go pick her up once they
get her BP back up. Not a serious concern, but they took her out of an abundance
of caution.

So begins another day.

I had a banana daiquiri the other day, had to double the spirits, it was too sissie of a drink.

Yesterdays rain showed some places worth putting a skim of material on.

Need to squeeze in for a bit of the dog action.

⛈️ Thunderstorms kept him pacing around overnight.
Daytime no issues, scared of the dark.
Then again he was raised with 18 cats at the rescue.
Folds his front legs like a cat, washes his nose like a cat, pounces like a cat.
Very cute though. 🤣
