Yellow jacket wasps don't stop stinging unlike honey bees. I will have to try jewel weed not sure where to find it for the stings.
If you want to kill the nest of yellow jackets underground, try a number of ounces of gasoline down the hole after dusk when all the wasps are at the nest underground with a gallon metal can over the hole to the nest for a few days to kill the whole nest.

Well, I just jumped to the conclusion that multiple stings lead one to think yellowjackets first. I like pollinators even though they can sting.
