Planning a trip to the big smoke (Toronto) Traffic is a nightmare to say the least.
So I was thinking of doing a 407, 53 mile Toll trip.....NOT!
Insanity paying these charges.
Got to love it when a party sells a taxpayer's asset off to balance the books.

Folks have it so good in the States.
Toll highways, get on and off again, and a few bucks takes care of everything.
(Not including the Chesapeake Expressway)

Well I guess it's the 401-18 lanes total going east & west, and it can be gridlocked up.

The best part is: Folks from The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are from approximately 170 to 180 different countries.
And everyone has a different set driving rules.

Clean is good!
Hmm I have some citric acid still I've used for wine making and lantern parts cleaning... Milder perhaps but doable. We'll see after I remove the diesel.
The motor can be run off the onboard it tank , or a portable tank. The portable Dad had with it has about a pound of yuck in it still after I dumped the former fuel. The float for the gauge on the fill cap disintegrated. The metal frame it ran on so rusted it couldn't ride it anyways. Why the tank doesn't have holes in it. Must be the crud lining it.

Eased Tecumseh carb apart ; and oh my.
Getting the float released from the crud welding it to the body and having the carb in two pieces without a pile of broken parts felt like a major accomplishment.
Extracted a couple grams of varied crud before using the last 1/3 can of carb cleaner.
Added a slight dent to top of float adjusting the tab the umpteenth time to set it level.
Put it on the motor and surprise , it raced. I'm still laughing about it at times.
I haven't frogged with it at low idle. Air cooled but it has an exhaust cooling pipe for when underway so I shut it down. It seemed alright mid range on the way to stopping it. ( I had dumped my water test tank earlier. It was getting nasty from bugs ect.).

Bought a Echo 400 saw awhile back. Had the saw shop look at it. Started up there.

Took it out to use, sharpened the chain.
Started right up, BWAH, BWAH ,every time I pulled the trigger.
Then it would die.

Blue air, set it back in carrying case.
(At least I didn't throw it)

Dang OV! You have been having cool weather while we in the northeast part of this state have been having hi-80'sF and up to mid-90'sF for the last couple of weeks! I even had to stay in the house a couple of days because it was just too hot for me!

I have been building stairs, installing doors, trim, base.... inside with the air conditioning on..... I'm not paying the power bill !! Nowhere near as hot as Eastern Oregon though.

Been pretty crazy here with the big fire going on. Lots of homes and businesses destroyed, as well as around 11,000 acres.
The reservoir that the fire fighting helicopters dip from is right by my house and it's been like a war zone with them constantly flying over my house.
