A few years ago I built one of these 'cabin series' for a customer. They have friends retiring in Brookings so... looks like I get to do it again !! I'm currently at homestead homes in Medford meeting with them. It helps to know people as they are closed today !! not for us !! My wife is a real estate broker and already sold them the land. Semi retired ain't going to happen yet but I have a young contractor willing to help.I'll be general he can be sub. He knows I sold the farm property and asked... won't you be running around buying shit ? Well.... work comes first ! And yes !!

Looking over the packages I don't see where they provide the logs for the
walls. Are they included?

Yes and they are going with cedar bugs don't eat it like pine.

Medford seems a little far/drive from Brookings?

2 hours 15 minutes for me. I have been here since last night, pool hall, today Homestead log homes, guitar center, Mercedes dealership. We can't do much shopping in Brookings. I think we will spend another night !!

Mornin all.

Got out of bed around 12:30 A.M. to go lay on the horn in the neighbors drive way repeatedly for a while.
People running around on their phones looking panicked and someone finally opened a door for me to bellow turn that $*^# down! at them.
I should have gone and woke them up predawn when I got up early as usual.

Mornin all.

Got out of bed around 12:30 A.M. to go lay on the horn in the neighbors drive way repeatedly for a while.
People running around on their phones looking panicked and someone finally opened a door for me to bellow turn that $*^# down! at them.
I should have gone and woke them up predawn when I got up early as usual.

The only noise we get is the transit boaters that turn the dock into their party patio. A few times I lit them up with 1000"s Lumens of blinding light to get their attention and polity requested to tone it down.
That or it's a HISS command to the deep barking shepherd that for every bark there's the echo off the rock bluffs. He doesn't know what he's barking at, but there must be something evil out there as he was told to guard. (This can happen 4:30-7:00 AM)

Then the back up plan- I have to cut firewood, and chip wood at 7am just on the ridge above their lovely boats.
Amazingly they usually go and play someplace else.

Taking the muffler off the tractor is something that the Pepper would of thought up.
Another is sighting in the "old high powered rifle"

Getting woke up when the head is big and aching, and the stomach is doing flips isn't the best start of the day after a few hours of party sleep.

I doubt they were partying.
Mom was probably not home so they had to do something disagreeable.
The Dad did time a while back. Hush hush stuff as she is into local politics ect..
But being as he was not working or seeking to earnestly after his release his wife wouldn't let him move back home.
He visits on weekends and as a former band member likes to jam and play loud music.
But I didn't hear his chronic cough so it might have been just the youths.

Play music.
No need to blast it my direction after midnight .
The old dog was panting and it sounded like snowmobiles racing through the walls.

Kind of made me think about it.
Does functional work for the dysfunction or does dysfunction require a functioning system or does that system the root of the dysfunction.
