I think he posted it in 'top banner finds' :dontknow::icon_scratch: I don't believe it was voted in. I would have missed that find.... looks like a tree to me !!! :laughing7:
Just an oak tree that talks :dontknow:
Now this is a tree.

Well it's going to be a long day as there's a road trip to the big smoke again(Toronto) with the Tundra and dump trailer.
(Taking a friend that has some brains and muscles 6'5" 225. 22 yrs old.)
Reason for this trip is to disassemble/pack/load a mini refinery that I have been working on buying over the past 5 months.
Start at 1 pm-finish at ? then drive back home. (the last return drive took 5 hrs) Though I'm hoping that the traffic will be a tad better this return.
The weather is good at least, no rain in the forecast.

Little did note regarding this new friend.
He just finished writing his masters, and is taking a year off before going after his doctorate.
So he wants to hang around me for some mentorship :dontknow:

On the introduction to the Mrs a few months ago he shook her hand and said this:
"I'm going to be Jim's protégé"
I think I :laughing7: the hardest of all. (But he's quite serious)

I have 45 yrs of buying and selling experience over him and he sees that, and wants to learn.
Kind of strange having folks asking for help (teaching them things)

Just this past week I stopped in at a new and used place. Sort of mixed bag of everything going on at once.
I met the guy a decade ago when I bought all my building supplies from him to build the shop.

He wanted some guidance in sorting scrap metal.
So this was an easy, and I said that I was looking for Gold/silver content materials.
"I sell my stuff to Victor when I get anything"
But he realized I provided more value rather getting a quick buck just selling to Victor.

That’s worth a lot more than you might think. Most people can only sell their time. Buying and selling things (or other people’s time) lets you move from “employee” to “entrepreneur”. And it is not always an easy skill to acquire.

Alrighty then. Lesson one:
Who's paying for lunch?
