So I run home to change vehicles, grab the transit, bull float and fresno.... and what ever else I left sitting in the open shop.... that I was supposed to take this morning, and I find this. WTF Fed Ex !! Who is responsible and do they get tased, shot or punched ?? Jackasses.... Tamper evident tape, if you just used regular tape, who would know?

It turns out that.......
Deters theft: Shows clear proof if a box is opened during transit.
Leaves a mark: Splits or leaves hidden words like "OPENED" on the box and tape if removed.
Best uses: Ideal for shipping electronics, jewelry, or expensive goods.
I'm busy, I don't have time to learn this shit !! Seems to me if you wanted to open it you would have your own 'tamper evident tape'
Or just take the entire package !!
It turns out Beckett used the tape, I had some sports cards graded.

Samich for dinner then a few more hours of work !! Semi retirement is not working out.....

Greetings all....and yes, my "day" is just starting.

For, reason unknown, the wife's blood pressure has been suddenly dropping into
the danger regions (like 60/35), and she becomes somewhat incoherent. Only choice
is to call 911 and have them take her to the ER..again. I'm now on a first name basis
with most of the ER staff.

So, I get to bed yesterday morning at 11am, and at 12:30 her caregiver is waking me up
(a most difficult task) and telling me the paramedics are there and transporting her. I get
up and try to shake out a huge pile of cobwebs just to give her a kiss as she's getting rolled
out the door. I'm on the road and following just 10 minutes later.

By the time they get to the hospital (30 miles away) her BP is climbing again, and we get
to spend the next 8 hours as they try and figure out the "why". Xrays, CT scans, tests of
all kinds....they got bupkis.

Finally get both of us back home by 9pm (with a stop at McD's for some tucker). Feed the cats,
feed the 'coons and realize my 2nd wind has fully kicked in.

..meaning I'll still be up awhile. FINALLY
get to bed about 3am and sleep like the dead 'til 4pm. I'm still completely knackered.

Lord, I'd like to request a Monday do-over...without all the drama.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope her health improves greatly, and that you are OK too.

Good morning all. The weather has cooled and we got a bit of rain (though still need a lot more). The garden is either slowing down or maybe getting its second wind. Hard to tell yet. Deer coats are changing from summer brown to winter gray. Hard to believe it will be October in another week.

Medically, there's a ton of issues, and all of 'em real; she's no hypochondriac. If there
were just a couple of problems, that can be handled, but when the list is lengthy it
gets to be a real PITA as if it ain't one thing, it's another. I've been teasing her and
telling her I should have had her take a full physical back before we got married,
which doesn't usually go over well, but it does get her blood pressure going back
up..
