The Depoe Bay Bridge is turning 100 years old in 2027!
Built in 1927 for approximately $55,000, this iconic concrete arch bridge has stood watch over our little harbor for nearly a century. And she’s getting some much-needed TLC before hitting that milestone!
ODOT is investing nearly $11 million in preservation work, including renewing the protective coating against saltwater corrosion, making concrete repairs, and repairing the bridge railings. Construction is scheduled to wrap up in December 2026, just in time for the bridge’s big 100th birthday year.
A century of coastal storms, salty air, fishing boats, and generations of Oregon Coast memories. Now that’s a piece of Depoe Bay history worth celebrating!
