Treasure Clue, can you help?

TO ALL, ?earlier some had posted about chapter 13 , pg 63. now pancho i'm glad your going back over the poem bacause i found it interesting that there are 8 words to this part of the poem and 8 extra letters that aren't included in the poem . i don't know ?what this means or if it has already been posted already before . i think they fit somehow with the other letters. let me know your ideas.

By anagraming particular phrases in the poem, I have come up with very precise locations. To give you an example, without the actual location I came up with: San Francisco train station (again, this is an example, not the precise location I came up with). The trouble is, the locations I've come up with are too far away from me. Plus, they just seem way too simple. I almost never get feedback when I post here, but maybe this time???

Pancho, for what it's worth, I agree with you on the poem. It rhymes much better your way.

Pancho, the poem does not have a regular rhythm as far as the number of syllables and the stress of syllables per line. It is not consistent. Keep in mind that MS was not trying to be a poet (he's already an author and artist) when he made the clues. It is the information that is important, not the rhyme and rhythm, so the lines may be somewhat contrived--certainly the story is nontraditional (presents text that is not understandable in the dream section).

Can someone tell me what the extra letters of the poem are, please.

The dotted box starts by the word trembled (that is a corner) goes down and across.? I cut it out because it is blank on the back I think I can see words but I cant make them out. Help wanted.? Also does any one have any idea about page 44.? I know the ant is hidden on that page.

Haley , relax honey . you're going through more pages than a speeding bullet. i just finished looking at the tree on pg 76 and see no words i,m sorry cannot help there . if you are referring to the extra letters i posted way back they are on pg. 63 chap. 13 . the poem reads reveals the name where on the treasures abide. the extra letters ?at the top ?u g f x j ?and at the bottom ?k p c y . i say extra letters because they are not a part of the poem on this page. i do think they fit in somehow but am still playing around with it . Pancho has posted the whole poem including pg no.'s for all and has also posted the creatures confirmed to date . we will all be glad to help you . but most of all this imformation has been posted on previous posts . we are all serious in our hunt here and are much further along than some of the new ones here , but we do all hope everyone makes an effort to read through previous posts so as not to slow our process down. i only say this with kindness . we welocome you all and your new perspective and fresh ideas .

Haley! Relax! If you allow it this book will chew you up and turn your brain into thin cream of wheat! I will look into the dotted line on page 76 and get back to you! Now put the book down! That's right! Good! Now get some rest! I'll post what I find tomorrow! 8) omnicognic

Sorry Haley don't know what those black dots are in the trees but I've stared at them many times and am certain it's some illusion we need to figure out. I bought 3D glasses on a box of fruit rollups about a week ago and it helps you see some of the puzzles better but am not certain they have helped me with anything yet.

I haven't heard anymore about the dandelions which seem to be important also. Anybody figure those out yet?

I just came back from the bookstore, bought the Puzzle Book Companion and from what I've seen so far he definitely wants you to use a magnifying glass in parts of the book. He states he wants us to look at things differently. He uses many illusions and has morse code in the companion book with a picture of the inside of the back cover as an example with morse code stating how it could be easily hidden in this picture. I think it's probably worth it to pick this book up if you haven't. So I guess I'll be reading the companion book over the next few days.
