Welcome to Tnet, Better pics will help? Both sides and something for size reference. May I ask what's a ruck march? I assume some type of military hike?

Looks modern (20th-21th C), I can see some modern stamped letters on it.

The font on the Metal Disk ( Token ) appears to be english, and from the 20th, or 21st century. north America.

Perfect Right angles. Sans Serif. ect ect.

I can't tell much from the pictures but I know that there have been some very old artifacts found on or near Fort Benning Georgia. ARMY MAN?:icon_thumleft:

Years ago, I found a really nice three ringer at Griswaldville laying in a ditch while at G.M.I.'s, P.L.D.C. near Macon on a road march. I saw it as we passed by. Could not break formation to get it but, after dark, I went back and got it. Not valuable but I had to have it.

THe 'corrosion' as you put it, is not hiding any detail. You could shine it up, but will see even less.

Lol about those marches and looking. I can say - Been there and done that. I was back then what was called a 91B - (Medic) and was working on getting though P.L.D.C. (Primary Leadership Development Course) & promoted in the Georgia Army National Guard from a SP4 to an E-5.
