Nice box Jim! Very cool find! Yes, you never know what your going to find in a box, my coolest find so far was a 1908 Barber so far. HH, Maverick.

I have had my run of good luck - persistence is the key! As for total finds over the years...I have a nice deck on my house now and took the family on a weeks vacation. I also have a SDB where it all goes - would recommend that for anyone that has been in it for a while and not cashed out.

Wow, nice coin! Must be sweet to see the silver edge and then to have an old commemorative on top of that!

Maine_Jim, I don't post on here anymore for obvious reasons, but this post from a vet gives me a reason to post!
That was one hell of a box you had there, congrats on the AWESOME silver haul, and the cherry on top, the pilgrim half dollar! Glad to see you're still searching and finding goodies.
Best of luck to you in your future hunts,
HH

Good to hear from you BuffaloBoy - I seem to get one old silver commemorative a year and they sure are fun. Since I got back into CRH in 08 I have gotten two Stone Mountains, a Maine and now the Pilgrim. They are quite surprising when they appear and my first thought when I see the edge is foreign coin but then the big surprise.

Only "classic" silver commems I've pulled have been BTW's. I'm jealous, lol.

No albums - I keep my good finds in 2x2's and in a 3 ring notebook. I have filled a couple of them.
