I haven't been posting much in the last couple of years.....I still check to see what you folks are finding every week or so but since we haven't had any rain my creeks are all dry. Here's a sampling of what I've been doing in the meantime.....

I used to catch two or three of those big catfish every year, down in Oklahoma at the Salt Plains Dam near Cherokee, Ok. They sure are good tasting.

Nice Buck Gold Maven long tines that is a good bow kill looks corn fed and one big shroom.

Archer we have missed you and figured you were out doing the wild thing!! Tell me you noodled that big cat?

hey old digger still waiting for your current picture of you and your wife.....just sayin'

Archer that is one impressive cat. We get some big ones here in the susquehanna but not like that. Walleye is a beauty. And what a good eatin fish. My favorite.

Hello Archer66,
That's one hell of catfish! How much did it weigh?

This may sound a little weird/homo lol, but the first thing I thought seeing that last pic is about crevices in the bedrock and dredgin' the gold out hahahaha. Great definition man, keep it up, you should be proud of your success and willpower.
Its me Trevor from dayton ohio, lol

Thanks for the comments folks.....

Steve....I can always use a rock buddy and a walleye buddy....that walleye wasn't the biggest that week but I like that picture the best....taken on Lac Seul in Ontario.

The big catfish weighed 70 pounds.

That telecaster was valuable, however that being said I believe the 1937 Martin is even more valuable. From what i know of guitars........Very nice Steve.........post a pic of that martin would love to see it!!.........................Chris

here it is the 1937 D-18
it is a huge gtr and is light as a feather
and sounds like thunder
some one wanted me to post the 1929 national so i will try getting that done too
thanks chris,
we tnetters have a lot more than the artifact interest in commonIMG_1096.webp

I know it's been said before but, What a great idea Ben! Thanks!
I have been enjoying reading the different threads & seeing the variety of things everyone finds it's nice to put faces with names.
There is a caring attitude here among everyone whether it's helping ID someones finds or congratulating them on their finds.
We come from all over with many different views on life and share a common bond and treat each other with respect which is not found every where today. Thanks to all!

Here I am with my gun toting husband after a winter surprise in GA a couple of years ago.

No I get as far as Dalton Ga but steer clear of Atlanta. Haha. I seem to always head over into the Tn valley and Cumberland Plateau. Welcome aboard.
