Should be some good artifacts in that area. I have seen some real killers come out of there. And I am part Cherokee. My Grandmother on my dads side was Cherokee.

ya'll are right there are many fine women on this site and i should stop being so implusive when i post.my motto is all women are beautiful and ill take two.no thats not really it,i hope everyone knows that beauty comes from within, for my sake.

Hello Larson1951,
I doubt many people know what one looks like so here's a picture of one. My bike is a great source of pride for me since I built the bike from pieces I collected over a five year period of time. It has just under 10,000 miles on it now. I'm currently building a 1947 Harley Davidson UL from scratch. Sorry for getting off the subject.....

Thanks for looking,
Sidevalve45

Thanks for the pic sidevalve,
thats an awesome looking bike, you did a great job. My winter thing is restoring old harleys, vintage dirtbikes, tractors, chainsaws and anything old, iron and rusty...

Tears of the moon, I say this purely complimentary, you are a rarity. 4/5 Chickasaw is something I would say with pride. You should be thankful that your family tree has been kept up with so well. I'm guessing here, but I would think most people with as pure a bloodline as yours would say, I'm 100% Native American. I have a friend that claims to be 1/2 Native American. He may very well be. It is obvious when looking at him, and his name is Sundance. The heritage is pretty strong in his family, but 1/2 is kind of doubtful, for me. I really doubt he could trace his native heritage as close as you have done.

If we can keep this thread on track we will put it on top as a sticky with Ben's permission. It will have to not get side tracked though.

I am fully on board with that. It's been a great way to meet everyone and it will be a great way to me new members. Kinda give everyone an intro as they come in.

Hi Larson1951,
The stone house is interesting. What's the story? The rock looks to be glacial till pushed down from Canada. It reminds me of some areas in northern wisconsin.

Thanks,
Sidevalve45

hey 45 that rock is granite field stone with about 20% chunks of petrified wood built in 1930 in the style of a 'norman' house from england or france
it is prolific here
i once had a job for 4 bucks a day picking these rocks in 1965 to clear farm land
the people built that house used rocks that were lying around the area

this thread is the best
it sure seems to get us all to know each other
i hope we get more posts here regarding members and their familys and hobbys

Here is my pic with my wife and son.

Road Dog. Great seeing you. I have enjoyed your post and finds for many years nice seeing you and your family at last.

Don't have too many pics of myself, I'm always the one behind the camera.

Here I am with some steak and mushrooms. Hard to find bags big enough for these 'shrooms.:laughing7:

Nice to see everyone.
