Look for them on the "Today's Finds" forum and tell them I am terribly sorry!

Correction: look for them on the dowsing and prophecy forums!

I was gonna leave you a green 10 speed bicycle and a pair of dog sheers, but that many people can't be wrong. You're getting NOTHING! :tongue3:

Heck I didn't even know that was there. I've got one, X-Terra_TreasureHunter. I can't remember anything bad between us. Must be the New Mexico dust blowing into Texas. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Almost 40,000 members have posted here . You got to expect that there will be some disagreement
amongst individuals ..........
Some individuals just work harder at being disagreeable than others ............

Sandman, you're a valuable contributor to the forum. You have strong opinions on a lot of tough topics.
When I first started reading :read2: on treasure net I only shared your point of vie about 30 % of the time.
This hobby / sport of ours involves a good size learning curve. It also is like a huge jigsaw puzzle that we have to figure out how all the pieces fit together. Currently I agree with you 83.5% of the time.
Your posts and replies give me a great supply of brain food. Thanks for all your input to the forum. :icon_thumleft:

I've only placed one guy on the 'ignore list'; he uses a very annoying flashing avatar, and when I posted about it, he replied with a childish rant that should embarass all who know him.

There are 4 ignoring me, but two of those are deceased.

As far as the other 2 go...if they don't want to see any information I post about getting permission, IDing or cleaning and preserving finds, or view any of the finds I or my team make, then that's their loss.

No big deal.

I have one ignored because I got tired of his stirring things up with far-fetched ID's in the "What is it?" section.

Best Wishes,

Buckles

Work harder??? :icon_scratch: Nah, for me it just comes along naturally. ;D I just like to say as I feel at the time, it's not my fault if a reader does not understand wit, or sarcasm.

To be honest, there is much less disagreement on other detecting forums. The reason is the format of TreasureNet. With sections like "Religion," "Prophecy," and "Politics"--these differences between members will be underscored.

Lets not forget Dowsing, Long Range Locators and some Treasure Legends. Also faith based sections :hello:

Yuck. :tard: Unnecessary and divisive.

The divisions hasn't a thing to do with any of those sections at all.

It only has to do with the people who don't believe or agree with others, then go into those parts of the forums trying to cause strive by starting arguments, consistently & publicly trying to talk down to or "prove" everyone wrong (just because they don't believe the same), and basically just being immature because they don't want to discuss... they only want to argue and don't want to allow anyone else to make conversation who CAN discuss differences without boiling over into other sections. And yes, a couple years ago and BEFORE then, this was never a problem and that's how things in those parts of the forum were actually pretty calm & quiet.

It seems that those who (purposely) cause the problems are the ones who can't stand to let other people believe differently than themselves... so they make it their vendetta to "try" to rid this forum of the things they don't want to see, instead of just using this "Ignore" feature that we're talking about on this thread, which Marc made available to them and everyone else. Though they know it, they are also able to just ignore whole sections of T-Net as well... but they don't, for the same reasons as listed above.

So no, those sections should not be deleted. Those who don't like them or want nothing to do with them should just Ignore it and go about finding things that DO interest them... that isn't associated with starting arguments or making condescending comments to/about others or sections of T-Net that they don't care about (or do they??)

Well I had none until today, but that all changed with Big61AL, no clue who he is either :icon_scratch: I can tell you at the rate he is ignoring people, he will soon have the site to himself ;D I read his profile, what a witty gent he is, he should send me $5.00 and I'll write something funny for him. I also have a Chico Rico, no clue who he is either, or what I did to upset him. :dontknow:

You are very wise for your years Bran.... We need a lot more young adults like you..

It seems to me that some of you just want to own this site. If you want it that bad, why don't you pool your quarters and buy it? If not, here is a little suggestion - SHUT UP AND LEAVE OTHER POSTERS TO POST AS THEY SEE FIT!
