Imagine being the first ones out here in the desert to hit the black rock drop points ( nugget traps) all you had to have was a screen wire just sift those little yellow nuggys out.
I found a couple of these spots in 30 some odd years of gold hunting. those old guys missed very few if you have ever found one i dont have to tell you why they were so good.

Pocket o gold oh pocket o gold
Hope i finds ya
Justs one more time
Before i gets to dang old.

Kid never came back, dont know if he fixed or threw it away.
Was kinda hopin it would of worked out to be a drywash partner.

Findin one of those is like findin an oz nugget just sittin atop the ground.
Not very likley.

Wanna go wash some dirt that might be ore?
Its good n dry right now, lots of black rocks !!!

then you'd have to load me back into the truck...

Hot today (about 80F.) and just had a nice thunderstorm roll through.
Nuthin' like hearing that thunder echoing off all the mountains...

I've had log in problems lately but to my surprise today I'm logged in GT good on you for doing a good thing !!Over the years I have done the same to various people getting into prospecting / dredging only to not hear from them again ! A normal person would think that FREE and Thank you would go hand in hand ! BUT I am happy that I also did it with no regrets ! I hope they inturn do the same to other's !

[ProspectorALEX]

I would be game to help you. Set net fishing hasn't been very productive this year or last and I'm considering a different job for next year. Do you only go out in the summer or what?

I go out all year but age is gettin the best of me now and the gold is just gettin harder to find. Theres really no money in minin here. I was lookin for a local wanted to go out.

You want gold the Arizona guys seem to have the best stake around.
