EETHEYER, WHY don't you put your name at the end.you also want others to see see your posts and pictures.we at least answer a question, when asked.most of us older hunters just enjoy that we have something in common.we are not all crooks.

What good would my name do you?---Do you want to put me on your Christmas card list or something?

Obviously you were just looking for something to divert attention away from the meaning of my post, and attempting to discredit that concept by discrediting me, as the poster of it. My post was not about me, personally---it was about noticing the different types of posts on this forum, and the reasons behind them. Apparently that struck a nerve in you, and your response is very telling, thank you.

I always wonder why it is important to some people, that others "believe" them. Is that not, after all, the Modus Operandi of a con artist? If someone wants to share helpful knowledge and facts, then why not also post the confirmable evidence which supports it, in order for it to be truely helpful?

In addition, there are those who insist that nobody would ever post actual, new, verifiable facts which they discovered about the Lost Dutchman Mine, because no treasure hunter would give away information which would help other treasure hunters, and thereby possibly cause the poster to loose out on a valuable recovery. But those people are thus defining this forum as merely a hangout for swindlers.

Those who do post information sources, to back up their theories, should be thanked graciously.

And those who demand belief, and scorn the "non-believers," are always under suspicion. But that is so obvious that I wonder why they even waste their own time?

:coffee2:

EE,

I, pretty much, agree with your post. I posted my reading of the Stone Maps, pictures of the heart at the end of the exact trail, as it is laid out on the Stone Maps and why I came to the conclusions I did........some time ago. Anyone who wants to check it out can do so with a copy of the trail maps, a topographic map and a copy of my map. I have handed out copies of my map at the last couple of Rendezvous', as well as mailed out many more.

Do I care if others believe......Sure I do. Everyone wants others to accept their conclusions to any puzzle.

Many of my best friends don't think my map is THE map.:dontknow: Think I got over that a long time ago.:BangHead:

Good luck,

Joe Ribaudo

You are right, you don't have to show who you are good luck to you all.

You wrote " If someone wants to share helpful knowledge and facts, then why not also post the confirmable evidence which supports it, in order for it to be truely helpful ? "

In the begining of my posts in this forum , I tried to share my knowledge about LDM and stones map . But quickly I was disappointed because nobody believed me , and the " olders " insisted in theirs theories and sometimes derided me . Some times this forum was like a pub , where entering anyone unrelated to spend their time . This made me think if it is worth to continue to share my finds . I doubd if anybody want seriously to learn where is the LDM . Maybe one day , if I understand how it's worth to continue , I will finish my theory ( explanations and maps ) about LDM and stones map .

Markmar,

Is there some reason why anyone would discard their decisions or interpretations for yours? There are more than a few people here who know the history and legends of the Superstition Mountains forward and backwards. Many have been working the range and researching the real facts for decades. Since you prefer to keep your name a secret, few people will ever trust what you post.

On the other hand, you could be totally accurate.:dontknow:

The reason is simple . After decades of researching the real facts , nobody found anything relative to LDM or Peralta mine .
Maybe is time to turn the page or to change mindset .
About my name , Marius I was baptised , but now have a greek ending . To believe me or not is their choise and I respect that .

Marius,

In this case the "mesh" net is research and the knowledge it brings. As I read your posts, there seem to be many holes in your net. The only exception to that particular rule is.........blind luck.

Good luck,

Joe Ribaudo

Joe

The holes in the net , I left them to give hope to some fish .
The words " blind luck " heards little exaggerated but at last " The luck helps the brave "

Marius,

Fish do not "hope".

Marius,

Don't give it much thought. I have been in the hospital twice in the last month. Once for pneumonia and once for heart problems. Some would say I don't have much understanding and never have. I can assure you my opinions should be viewed with some sceptisisim.

Good luck,
