The world is made up of atoms. Atoms are 99.99999999999 empty space (really not space, but energy). When atoms combine, they dont really touch either, their magnetic fields wont allow it, (they sort of "magnetically link") so when atoms combine, they are still 99.999999 empty space.

Similar to spirals, concentric circles may be even more interesting for treasure hunters, as all searcher handbooks define a circle with a smaller circle or dot inside "means gold". However, these petroglyphs are much, much older in many cases and perhaps meant something else very important to the ancients. Below are some samples - the first three found on the bread crumb trail of spirals followed by the guy mentioned earlier (found by me, not him). The fourth is at an ancient Tricheras site on a hilltop above the Gila River.

Actually these symbols represent waves, or more spiritual vibes. It's a good vibe because its direction ( from the center to its margin ) emanate, giving something expected to its creator.
The similar symbol which represents a mine, has only one dot or one smaller circle inside, or has only the external circle if is joined by a line.

Ill do my best to keep the "woo" away from my response here....
The circle-dot absolutely meant something more....spititual, having to do with creation and the alpha-omega, to the antients. The Masons carry this meaning forward in their "off the books" meaning of the circumpunct. Its the product of the compass. ie. creation....anyhow. Enough of that....

It eventually filtered down through the ages, lost its spifritual meaning, to mean "sun" and "gold" as you stated, which are the physical representations of spiritual perfection. I layer of meaning down from the original.....

I thought the "spiral" at the Indian Circle was a circle-dot...which is why I initially went back there to record. I remembered wrong.....

Martineau says the circle-dot represents (to the native Americans) something being enclosed. If the outer circle is broken, then it represents something no longer enclosed.

That's it!

Im not not referring to your concentric circles. Those are currently over my head

On the same trail as The Head behind Miner's Needle, a bit deeper in to the mountains, is The Heart. After making this video, I think this may be 100% natural, BUT I spent 2 days and a night there getting footage so, I had to do something with it Hopefully, it's something you guys/gals will enjoy. Happy early Valentines Day!

Petroglyph in the Santa Catalina Mtns north of Tucson. An approximate interpretation:
If surprised from something bad/dangerous, flee rapidly/strongly up the stepped canyon trail (in the direction of the zig-zag and torso/head). Pass to the right of something then left there is a nearby safe place.

Great heart, up north, you should travel more to the east to see more like this is a real manmade sculpture, you need to take a higher resolution image of it with a pro camera. I worked on the image with Photoshop and used some AI to bring out some of the clues (coded carvings and maybe pictographs, some of the white may be ceramic coatings used by the *** in their treasure burial markings. Regardless you are finding what others have found and they also did not know what they were looking at. Good Video. You would be shocked if you knew what is in that treasure depository. You will just have to wait until secrets to that region are told, maybe sooner than later.

Bob, I just realized this was you responding..... Im glad you liked the video. This is definitely up north, right next to Picacho Butte in LaBarge Canyon. I stumbled across it by accident investigating The Wagoner story, then went back to get some footage. It's not easy to get to....it's a 4 hour hike one-way.

Attached are photos of possibly the destination described in the petroglyph. The location is a large pile of rocks that has an overhang tall enough to stand up in and also a cave one can crawl into. It is about 306 yards from the petroglyph on the heading or azimuth it shows. It looks like the path shown includes the rise and fall of the terrain. The path passes to the right of a ridgeline. It is possible the destination is much further than 306 yards out. If so, it would be down into a gulch at about 1/2 mile.

Let me know when you plan to go to Heart Mtn. My scout from Tempe said the going was really rough to HM, I sent him there about 2 years ago and he didn't get to the place. There are some signs, shadow I think, found them at a place I was at way back, and seen the template sign on top of some huge boulders. I may be able to find GPS again. Too busy right now and need to take a break and plan for dinner. Still working 16-18 hrs a day. Whew!

I'd forgotten about this. I was in touch with a guy who was deep into a Heart Mountain project back in 1997. The story he told me was astonishing and he sent me a bunch of photo prints, including the one below, which I scanned. The other photos are somewhere in my file boxes and the other one I remember was an 800' horse intaglio.

I'd forgotten about this. I was in touch with a guy who was deep into a Heart Mountain project back in 1997. The story he told me was astonishing and he sent me a bunch of photo prints, including the one below, which I scanned. The other photos are somewhere in my file boxes and the other one I remember was an 800' horse intaglio.

I have been looking for a thread on a different forum that a guy name Jim used to run. There was a great thread with a few pics of heart mountain.....but that forum is gone now, as are the pics. I remember the stick horse, a 7 and three hearts. You can still see their outlines on GE if you play with the dates.
This picture is gold. It even shows the different vegitation....and post-bulldozer. Thank you.

Im sure you know.....you can see this from Florence if you know where to look and have a pair of binos.

No, I don't. If I were closer to central AZ, I'd have been all over the Superstitions when I was younger. In those days I had so much on my plate in NM that I had no reason to move my focus elsewhere. Long story short, I believe there is something of great value hidden in AZ, probably quite old, but my interest in it is only if and how it may be connected to my interests here.

Question for you AZ explorers. Does that big rock structure east (behind) the two hearts shown in the photo in Post #52 above have a name? It looks like an Egyptian pharaoh to me, and would serve as an excellent landmark for hiding something nearby - maybe in conjunction with the hearts.

I went jeep scouting this morning, looking for the best route in. It was too early and hazy to see the hearts (Ill try this evening....the best time is now. It rained yesterday...), but I did get a nice, hazy, zoomed-in shot of the neck.

On another note:
If you get there early enough when the sun is low, those window rocks really do POP.

The forum you're looking for is from the DesertUSA website. The moderator for the Lost Dutchman Mine stuff was Jim Hatt. Jim passed away in October 2011 from cancer (lung I believe). That subsection of the forum rapidly lost steam and eventually very little if anything was discussed there anymore. I went looking for it to refresh my memory about something 6 months or so ago and the forum section of DesertUSA is no longer there although DesertUSA still exists and has a FB page now too. I've sent at least a dozen emails to various persons associated with DesertUSA to find out if there is any way the forum was archived and could still exist in some form - I've gotten a total of ZERO responses to any of the emails or messages I posted on the FB site. There was A LOT of good information there including things never discussed on any of the other LDM forums. I should have copied all of it long ago when I first though of doing so, but I kept putting it off and now I'm afraid it's lost forever.

If I ever find any of that old forum, I'll post here, but I suspect it's gone. What a shame - I'd at least like to have gotten confirmation that it no longer exists and wasn't saved in any way rather then just being ignored, but what can I do?

Archive.org is great, but, it only saves "front facing" websites. It has a hard time trolling the interiors of a forum, especially one with many threads that have many pages.....
Stick around though, some modern and high-def pictures and video (without giving away the location) of this place will be up here and on my youtube channel sometime soon.......
