Jim,

Glad you managed to get your urge for the booze under control. At that pace you probably wouldn't be around otherwise.

Did you get doggie pooh smeared on your glasses, too? He said. "sluice box." LOL That was my favorite song when I was.... what? 12? Even though I did not know what it meant. Hahahaha!

No. Glasses survived intact.

Replay of storming and howling /barking dogs 2:30A.M. this morning, after I crashed around 1:00 a.m..
This time I just stayed put....

Mornin all.

Strange extended roar followed thunderboomers repeatedly this morning.
I've not been out for a drive or watched the news to see if it was high wind or....More. The wind was not strong right here though.

Roger,

Longest daylight day of the year....seems like the nice weather just started and already heading towards shorter days.

Having a vegetarian lasagna for supper and another side salad from the garden.

Starting to feel like a bunny rabbit with all the salads we've been eating....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

We have at least 300 a year Bill.
Rib steak should keep us going for many side meals.

Jim,

That flinstone steak is good for several portions for sure.

We have rib steak probably only about 6 times per year and we split it between the 2 of us.

We've eased off a lot on red meat to keep bad colestorol at bay and the salads and home made veggie soups pretty much all year round for us also.

This one weighed in at 5.25 lbs-if you're splitting them, no wonder the cholesterol is not in check. :laughing7:

I might just have to make a few quick frozen dinners up as it way too much for us.

Well I received a strong call today from the compliance section of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Seems that we got ratted out for delivering eggs to the city. It seems that one has to have them graded by an expert to be able to sell them off the property.
It could be a fine up to $25K
Friend said a couple further out east got $4K for transporting and selling a dozen of their farm eggs.
That's ok-we have our customer base that are more than happy to pick up.

Like they nothing better to do than harass the small folk.

Ouch!

If you'd like , post pictures of the eggs and I'll provide them a test , then give them all grades based on thier responses....:laughing7:
