Whipped up some eggplant dip as a side dish for supper. We're having some hot chicken sandwiches as the main.

Welp its been one week since our ole Suzy passed... been a very sad and long one.

In the midst of this my other half says "we should go metal detecting"...

after some talk we are now trying to come up with a near future hunt date... not sure exactly when... but i will go dust off the ole detectors and gear.

When Suzy was a pup she LOVED to dig... And would find stuff... once a matchbox car... odd shells... etc etc... she would dig and dig along with my oldest pup.

Never could get her to fill her holes though.. heh

ARC,

Glad you and the missus plan on going detecting...it's good therapy!

Gotta get horizontal... off... night.

C u n am.

Despite having so many dogs here....
It's not sad , but I miss my "boy" and one of his daughters.
He and I were a unit. She always here to say (not ask) how ya doin?

2016 he passed. Her three years later.
Still pat the cedar boxes thier ashes are in now and then. And remember the connections more than the loss.

We have pics and videos. They don't capture all of course.
The mind does fondly still , fairly clearly; capture the all. With little regard for time.
Seems remembering helps more than trying to forget.
And the other dogs get treated for who and what they are. Not fair to compare.

Four hours in a little room at the hospital.
Made some progress. Sore too.. A couple more long visits and I expect to be getting near a wrap up of a more permanent socket pattern. It's a wait and see though..
P.T. to follow. We'll be threatening Autumn time I get something to wear at home again. (?)

City traffic was slow on the way in , with the long off ramp at my exit backed up to the highway , but absolutely nuts leaving. Three lanes of creeping traffic . Stop, start, stop.
We need cities . I guess.
And it appears folks are getting back to work.
Masks still required in the hospital.

Sure nice to get up the highway a half hour or so to where traffic thinned out. And then beyond.

sounds like if possible bring all the stuff she found along an dig a big hole at her favorite spot and let her go.......

We are saddened this evening that we have lost a friend. He loved my maple syrup taffy, and we adored his sense of humor, just a kid at heart.
"If I had known that I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself "
RIP Dear friend

Sorry to hear Pep.
