Just doing the big sliding door system downstairs-then it's outside to soak up some spring warmth going up to 60F this afternoon.
Chickens are enjoying the day out in the barn enclosure, trying to navigate between bare patches and snow covered ground.

Good stuff. I'm quite angry feeding my poultry my turkey got ahold of me and managed to get my finger when I wasn't paying attention. Was not pleased at all with that.

With you, pepper. I am doing the man door into the garage. I used to be a carpenter as a lad before I become a chunkydale dancer. Did not like that job. Those pennies are cold they drop down in your overall speedo

Biting the hand that feeds, isn't good.
My Pips pecks me gently just for attention, once gets some she's good.
Heard some turkeys can be pretty mean.

This guy is extremely mean. Got me a few days back with his wing and made a decent gash on my leg

I couldn't view your video the other day as it wasn't allowed in my country. But I managed to used my tech. experience which is very limited and got a still shot. Pennies were a little too much maybe,

The turkeys that we raised this last year were ok, no problem with aggressive behavior.
A customer brought the Mrs along last weekend for the egg pick up.
She wanted to see the hens and barn.
I opened the door and most came flowing out for some yard playtime.
She saw Bubbles the rooster and said "HE'S HUGE!
HE'S TWICE THE SIZE!"
What is he 10-12 lbs?
Then she asked if he ever pecked me?
Never has, follows me around when I'm doing the cleaning, just watches from a foot away.
Doesn't really care to be touched, but I tend to grab him once in a while and pet him. He seems ok when I do, when released he walks around calmly and talks.

Rooster wise I've never had problems except one time with a Rdode Island Red. Most are just mean to the hens and each other but leave people alone.

Besides his overly active rooster urge he's so kind to the hens.
Never eats till they have had their fill. Finds food calls them over to enjoy the treat.
He picks something up in a food source, let's another hen take it from his beak.
Gentle giant, though I'm sure they know their limits.

All my roosters are jerks to the hens. We often have to give roosters away as we get too many too rough on the hens

Fully understand that one, the 5 extra went to the freezer. Separation was a daily chore.
