Have ever find any while out exploring/detecting?
I couldn't get rid of that L in my post, odd.
Only thing we have is a little used Aboriginal grinding rock that my wife found yrs ago when we lived in Tarnagulla back around 1998. My wife went for a bushwalk with our old Aboriginal mate there and she found it. He reckons that's what it is.

L

Wish we had that type of thing here.
What would you estimate the age of those?
The two oldest ones would be in the 1500-2300 years BP range. The rest would be in the 250-1100 yrs BP range.

Now n then supermarket has small gourmet mushroom packs.
We had one for breakfast.
King Oyster, Oyster, Black Trumpet? and Enoki. Beautiful to taste the different flavours. Black ones very mild flavour though but interesting almost rubbery texture, kind of squid like.

I dream of using those. 🥰
Jokes aside, I had a very good US friend...maybe 28 yrs ago, im not sure but I'll mention him again, who came for big holiday here with his misses.
We hooked up and had a fantastic time detecting, bbqs, sightseeing.
Anyway my friend he was a gunner on a scout helicopter in Vietnam. They would scout unknown areas, often fly low to draw fire so as to know where to call in strikes and other things. He told me some stuff and was silent too at times. I let those quiet times go. Great guy, we had some great fun detecting when he was here.
@Terry Soloman I know you enough to think I can ask.
My friend was Tim O'Donnell. He served as I said. Last I knew he went with his misses, Karen , to live in New Mexico. He was a member on another forum where I met him so many yrs ago, hope its ok to mention findmall.
If anyone here knows whom I am talking about I would love to be able to catch up with them. 😀

Good morning all.

The fourth bluebird egg didn't hatch, so there are just triplets. And they're hungry. I always thought that birds would eat the food first and then regurgitate it to the chicks. These don't -- they give the chicks the whole bug just like the adults eat.

Good morning everyone From Kalamazoo Michigan :)

:coffee2:🇺🇲:sunny:Good morning everyone. A day of yard & pond work ahead of me. Starting to get warm so finally the Plumaria's are starting to leaf out. Everything is a month behind this year and the mangos are a failure this year. I'll be lucky to get a dozen. Last year was a bumper crop. These are Hayes Mango's, super delicious. Some water lily's are way behind too. Have a nice Friday.

The weather im guessing with the mangoes. We stopped buying bananas two weeks ago. They mostly come from Queensland here. Outside look almost ripe, little bit of green, even those that are yellow, but inside going rotten. From the crazy rain and flooding they've had up there.
I understand trying to support them the farmers but Im not paying $8 a kilo for rotten food.
