My brother called up and said he was at the salvage yard and some guy was unloading a 100 year old drill press to throw on the scrap heap, and do I want it. Oh hell yes I want it!
Made the 3 hour drive to Stockton (good chance to see mom also) and picked it up.
I figured it would be needing a complete resto. Nope, a major degreasing and re-lubing and it purrs like a kitten!
Actually it's the quietest press I've ever heard. The motor is wired to run on either 110 or 220, and it's got a 5/8" Jacobs ball-bearing Super Chuck.

No pain in the morning. Longer I walk worse it gets. Even a few hours sitting helps ease the pain.

Could be achilles tendinitis.

I tried working with my heel pain. Made it worse! Different area of the foot pain. I bought the pillowiest.. gelist insoles I could find. Research and other T-neters said
plantar fasciitis. A middle finger to that !!!!!!! I don't have time to sit around.

Try building the pads up in your heels. Raise them up an inch or so and see how that affects the pain. Can always lower after you see.

Last month of autumn here. Nice days between 15 and 25c. Starting to get 0 overnights in places now.
Perfect day yesterday, on my way to the res.

Water looked beautiful with the hills behind.

No cloud cover so didn't expect a real session. Just glad to get out.
Few exploratory hits now n then but no committed strikes. Finally got two good eating size reddies on a lure the exact same colour as their fins. Cannibalistic things they are like most fish.

Roos seeing me off leaving.

Text from the dealer. He's only getting 7 released to him. He mentioned they make only about a 100 coils in a certain period of time.
So limited amount for sure.
I just hope it really woks in the heavy iron sites that I frequent.
Only thing is the crops are in when I get the coil.
I guess I can go play in the bush, or hay fields till the grains are harvested.
