We had a young buck in the yard with the does last night. Once they get big enough to have antlers, they get skittish and stay back in the woods, at least during the day. I didn't get a picture of him up close, but here's a far-off shot of him headed out to the field.

Fall is definitely here now, 40s at night and highs of 60-70. I have to say I like it better than summer

Such a nice day had to get out. Errgh....flies are everywhere, went 70ks away thinking maybe, maybe no face full of flies. Nope. Flies.
Great place though. Here.

Tried the Goldy on a few different settings. Its nuts how sensitive it is and here is ironstone infested which typically any VLF you take there you have to turn it to minimum and you still won't find anything as the ground just blows them away.
Used Auto mode 2. It chases the best sensitivity and adjusts the sensitivity and tracking continually. It was ridiculous using this thing there.
Check out the ironstone gravel. All the dark bits are ironstone. The clear area is my scrape where I got a bit of gold under it all.

Here's the remains of an old gold puddler that's there.
