Silky Zubat is a serious blade. Had mine out this sinter for something.... A pole sized maple I'd put over to dry above ground with a tractor probably.
If your pocketboy model is anywhere near the quality ; be very careful not to let the blade taste you or a dog or anything you don't want to bleed. Other users have posted pics elsewhere.

Forgot a saw on a project and a friend cross cut multiple 6x6's with mine. Faster than I would have expected. I've cut more brush and limbs and saplings and who knows what else with it than I cared to. L.o.l.. But it cuts well.

Guard your eyes. Not just from rock hammer fun but the unseen twig when you close in on an item of interest with tunnel vision.
Not easy in the heat but worth it.
I can almost see one broken twig swinging after breaking it with my eye crossing a creek on a log.
Double vision for days and the beginning of the eventual poorer vision.
( Which is better than what I thought I had done right away.)

Ive always heard good things about them! As I was tool shopping i decided to finally get one. On initial inspection it Definitely doesn't disappoint!
Besides yard work. I figured id cut some trails and clear areas of interest. I have 0 doubt if I dont i will take atleast 1 stick/twig to the eye. Also in the summer its thick and infested with copperheads.

My buddy told me to go with a 150 amp.

I believe I upgraded my alternator within a couple years of starting plowing. Not because I thought it would improve performance but because I'd wiped out a battery and the replacement battery wasn't happy..
But then most trucks get an alleged better alternator when replacing one.

Starting batteries aren't deep cycle and vis a versa. Plows aren't either or when choosing a battery if we switched over to a house battery while plowing. Which we; or at least I don't.
It's a lot of draw at times though. Recovery wants a high output alternator.( Not for the batteries sake as much as the next big draw coming going to pull on the battery reserve regardless.)
For me that means sacrificing starter batteries prematurely as far as battery type.

In a remote area I'd have a back up battery isolated.
( Once upon a time I kept one on a charger in the kitchen at night and momma henned it in sub zero temps. Having unsuccessfully played musical chairs with multiple batteries one 40 below morning.)

I just watched a 13.5 minute video on changing the alternator.
Toyota needs a couch slap, seriously 😒
Easier way is front passenger tire off, dirt guards, sway bar, power steering pump, transmission lines, then every farking wiring harness that's in the way.
Shop time 3.5 - 5hrs
DIY time lots of blue air, no hoist, more blue air.
Shop rates start @ $110-135 a hr.
They won't take the truck with a plow attached.
I can fit it in my heated garage "when empty" with 4" to spare.
This isn't looking good.

looked up starter change on the Ford.
Crazy! Pull a front wheel and use multiple long extensions through a tiny gap...
Mechanic didn't do much of what allegedly needed done per internet.( I watched by his choice not mine.)

Lesson learned? Nope. Internet recently got me on the wheelchair bearings. But that's alright..I'll catch on eventually.

Yeah Central Victoria goldfields near the Pyrenees Ranges.
Officially they said it got to 44c today. Friday 46 and declared catastrophic fire danger with winds 40+ kph and dry thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Not looking forward to Friday at all.

They're paying $6.90 for #1 Bright copper
$6.55 for #2 copper
$1.78 for aluminum extrusion
It would be pretty crazy try to pay out the $$$ today at the yards.

The video is longer than what it would of taken on a 1960's vehicle.

I was totally sucked in thinking that it would be such a simple job, 13 minutes-WOW!
I got this (never even looking to actually see where it was situated under the hood.

I'm not looking forward to this task-zero/nadda/this is a job for a warm day(s)
I still will put a cuss bucket out to catch the quarters as the blue air is warranted.
Then cash it in and go for a detecting holiday as that bucket will be full-
