Yes. I have to check on the progress of a flooring job as I need to install all the doors/trim/base board. Hour or so.

It kinda looks like part of one of these but so do various other search suggestions which say light fitting, sconce, whereas this ones for candles.

This is the other almost identical light but it has a bulb socket, the support is also brass ? The top supports are 1/8 of an inch thick, why use brass ? also I have a couple of these "baskets"

Beats me. Second pic down you'd say from my end has some newer contact bits, nice n shiny compared to the rest. First one too looks like something not original to.
Who knows, maybe it's a repurposed light fitting hood from candle or oil or whatever to electric. Seen that before.

My condolences regarding your Mrs..... Losing loved ones always brings changes to life that
are challenging to overcome. Good to see you back out in the field!

My stepson lives in Iowa..I'll have to ask him if he'd like to do some treasure
hunting. What type of digging are we talking about? Metal detecting targets,
or old outhouses?
