Greetings all...yep, my day is just getting started. I have no clue how
to live on a "normal" schedule after nearly 20 years of this. I do envy
those who can go to bed at 10pm and get up at 6am every day.
Sir Chair, I'd swear that car was behind me a couple nights ago....I
finally pulled over and just let it pass.
I worked the graveyard shift a lot of years.
You want supper in the early morning? Enjoy your eggs.
We had a beer law you couldn't buy until noon or something. Neven mind the factory rats coming off shift work..
Worse were/are noise ordinances.
The majority of people working bankers hours insist you be quiet at night. While they made unlimited noise while you want to sleep.
And if there is a universal thing people do , it is to make noise!
Former co-worker made the bedroom dark and wore earplugs.
After all third shift stuff right?
Hs grudge for some reason girlfriend put a baggy of pot on the kitchen table and called the cops. (It was illegal then.)
He woke up to lots of lights and guns in his face and people screaming.
Cost him his job and court time.
As he put it , why would I leave illegal stuff on my kitchen table and go to sleep?
(But if he got off night shift it may have been worth it. (?) )
