Thanks DD, definitely not looking forward to driving a van down 99 in the central valley. Probably the worst highway I know of!
Anyways, at least the weather is good as you said.

I'm near clueless on computers. Go to the library to print.
I have a laptop . That's it.
Scroll down (doom scroll maybe )button is not attached anymore.
This thing wears out more I'll ask the kid to order a replacement .Again. But more importantly get it to work.

Well there is no need to learn all that techno unless you need it. I learned more as the tech got better... and it has really taken off. Home recording studio, sound and video editing, security monitored remotely..... green house cams and alarms... control irrigation systems.
Go to the library to print ? WHAAAAAAAA!!!!! Now days laptops are used to modify chips in cars and trucks and engine diagnostics. Tracking people or things.
A sign of the times.

Back in the mid-90's when I was pulling a flatbed, I ran 99 quite often. Had to stop
and check the load straps twice as often, 'cause that concrete hell will beat the shiznit
out of both driver and load.

Only one other major roadway was equally as bad (back then), and that was I-80 EB
through Pennsylvania.

Well I tried to sweat off the silver caps again this afternoon.
Poured 4 buttons.
I'll crush the contacts now as they aren't as sticky with just a bit of silver on them.
Still not a bad earning for a few hours of fun.
