Baker Lake, nearby, is loaded with Kokanee, and my dad used to love
fishing for them, and he'd always say "Fry 'em up and eat 'em like popcorn!".

Some of easiest fish to clean, scales come right off.
Probably rank as one of the nicest tasting fresh water fish also.
We use to have the best luck trolling, short lines under 80ft.

The closest lake is 100 + miles away is the only thing, the 7 rivers here are all within 70 miles. The Pacific smorgasbord is close !! I can literally hear the waves when they be a boomin' I do want to try those little fishies though !
