Well the tiller ended up getting a new coil. Another buddy came and installed it for me.

Though when I went over to the mechanics and shooting the breeze the topic of the breakers came up.
"How are breaking them apart?
4" Ice spade works pretty good, I replied.

Buddy looked over and said: Why don't you use your wood splitter?"
I looked Over at him 🙏 thank you.

Afternoon/evening all....it's morning to some of us..

After clearing nest type stuff a couple years the mice decided that wasn't enough and one decided to stay put when I turned the key on the riding mower.

My first house we used camping equipment for about three months .
A refrigerator was acquired first , and a stove/oven on Thanksgiving morning.

Early on /summer one morning we were eating cereal when I noticed a mouse had tried to cross the stove power outlet.
it was a thin mouse after that.

Back in the day I used to tell my kids this place was like a camping trip. They have been out in their own houses for over a decade and I have relaxed the standards a bit. This place is a camping trip. So refreshing to just let go

Morning all.

We visited a historic Swinging Bridge yesterday and saw an Osprey in its nest on top of one of the pillars. It was not interested in being photographed. This is the most complete shot I could get. The nest was massive. We thought it was an eagle nest until we saw the bird.

What not can I do today?
Missing black cat 🐈‍⬛️ on the mill pond trail. Tubby is on a leash, well it won't starve for a few days running around the rural. It's a urban sidewalk cat though-right there it will be trauma.
Leash on animals in a bush? Not good.

Will go for a hike around the property boundary, I know there area better than most.
Maybe a few brownie points can be earned 🤔
Bug rain storm last night, wet cat, poor night to be running the wilds. Bonus though the predators would have been hunkered down also.
Tubby-that's pure fat shaming 🤣

Took the jet boat out on Lake Mead yesterday and came up on this gopher snake way out on open water.

Cool snake...Hope you turned it back going the right direction...I know they're good
swimmers and all, but that's quite a swim to dry land in the direction it's headed.

Saw a few rattlers swimming back when we used to camp out of Cottonwood Cove,
and on one trip we found a "nest?" of baby rattlers (we believed they were rattlers).
Used them for bass bait....absolutely slayed the bass with 'em...they'd nail it the
second it hit the water...

Got a pic of this baby hummingbird about to take his first flight. There were two the other one left the nest already. I think they hatched only about two weeks ago when I seen the Mom start feeding them.
