Made it through another 14 days at the shark pit !! Every year i fish marlin out of this marina....it is a life or probably death situation if you fall in while docking, or leaving to fish. These sharks have been conditioned through years of feeding on fish scraps. This kind of human/shark interaction has taken place for thousands of years all around the world since man through his first fish scraps into the sea !! A couple years ago a fellow fishing mate fell in and was brutalized by these beasts and barley survived....miraculously he managed to drag himself out and into the boat...he was bitten on the arm first, and was still able to get one arm over the gunwhale of the boat. As he pulled himself over the side one pulled him back in by the leg, and he again was able to pull himself out....luckily turniquits were applied by fellow fisherman and his life was saved !! I made this video with no bait or chum....just the sound of the gopro and the reflection of the lens sent them into a frenzy !! Each day here scrambling around the boat putting dock lines on is a serious chore....one slip and your done ✔️ it's a sick sort of symbiosis between man and shark...they keep the marina clean of fish carcasses that have been fileted, but they don't discriminate and will dismember and eat anything that hits the water instantly. The show is violent and gory, but fascinating in some weird way....the shear power and precision of these apex predators is the stuff of nightmares.
