Finally back among the pirates and glad to see most everybody is still hangin around.
Had a bad cough with congestion in my chest back in December, turned out it was congestive heart failure. EF at 10 to 15 with a bad valve. Meds and stent seem to be working as the EF is back up above 50 and cardiologist is pleased with progress no need for valve replacement.
Been getting in a little swing time but managed to flood my Equinox 800 last week. Of course that model is out of production, so no repair or replacement as it was out of warranty as well. Minelab did offer some discounts on the 900 and 700 but I decided if we're gonna go new let's go with the Manticore.
Weather has turned to S--t as the tropical stuff is coming through now, so maybe next week will be better for the maiden voyage of the manticore. We're going to the beach next week for a few days.
Too long of a post so i'll go for now.

Somewhere, there is a squirrel, crow, raven or raccoon with a huge surplus of

I brought the fellow out to to garden to see the Hasps and to pig out on a few handfuls. I was kneeling down and got up and he said I had a tick on my leg, oh there's another, and another .......15 ticks crawling on my arms back and legs.
We dropped on the basket and they crawled up onto the handle waiting again.
I went back with 30% vinegar and sprayed them, as soon as the mist hit them they fell.
I'll check this morning to see if they lived or died.
#1 grossest creature ever to crawl on the face of the earth.
