We're looking at 90F today.....that's damn hot for this far up in the
rainforest. Fortunately, my fully enclosed shop, which is built inside
my garage, stays cool. The garage is insulated and the shop is insulated
yet again.

Been working on hacking out some blackberries that had overgrown
the walkway around the side of the house. I had left them as anybody
that tried to sneak around that side of the house would be in for some
serious bloodletting.....just using the loppers and cutting out smaller pieces
so I'm not dragging out 40' long vines. It's amazing how the things manage
to get their hooks into you no matter how careful you try to be.

Over the last number of years, I have been cutting down blackberries also up to 40' long. I found that even with cutting with loppers there is so much energy left in the roots that they keep sprouting out of the stump cluster for years after the first cutting. I did find out that if an old fashion 2-3HP lawn edger is used to take out the stump cluster down about 2 inches into the ground would work wonders on sapping the energy out of the plant.

Most people will use toxic poison however if one wants to use the ground for say a garden or even trees not a good idea and you still have to deal with the stump cluster left over.
A pitchfork and a long rake will help move the vines and reduce the blood bath doing so.

Well I took and ripped covers off took the seat out. Filled a few bins of hard parked dirt out. Pressure washed it. Added another 5 gallons of Virgin oil. That got it going OK.
The weight was 46 so maybe there something to the 46 virgin thing.🤣

The open grill had 8 inch of compacted dirt on top of coffee lids. Previous owner's trash.
Saw a wrench go flying out so maybe I'll dig it out of the pile.
