I was all set to finish my lengthy oil change on the Kubota.
Poured in a few quarts, pulled the oil dip stick in went why so full?.
Then came the you stupid dipshit wrong filler hole.
Totally blonde 👱‍♂️ moment (in my defense it said oil)🤪
Now a service is needed that I have to go get filter and some UDT transmission oil.
Price is $200 for a 5 gallon pail (have to call)

The service manual says 500 hrs service.
The Bug is @ 583 hrs
So I guess it was due.

The oil will be reused in something else. Possibly chain oil for the saws.

BUT IT STILL STINGS A TAD.🤣

I feel your pain. I drained the oil once and wondered why it seemed kinda red. Well, transmission fluid has that look....

A supervisor brought me one of the articulating Kubota's and said he put plenty of oil in it but it didn't reach the sight glass.
I drained a lot of oil out.
The guy who serviced our equipment must have overfilled it beyond the sight glass ; before the supervisor didn't see any air in the sight glass and went gung ho adding more .
Something like a triple charge total was drained?

Another morning a supervisor brought me a leaking oil hi lo.
The service guy hadn't tightened the new oil filer the previous day.
( No he wasn't old .)

Thinking it was oiling the transmission fill ; I did last time I messed up. Put pump on wrong container.
Fluids needed changed anyways.....( So says I after. )

Well I worked till nearly 8pm last night getting the foundation ready on the barn to Blueskin the poured cement to the cement board. That was 3 loads in the 3 ton dump for the dirt that was on top of the gravel and sand.
Taking a shovel and hoe and exposing 8+ inches of the concrete around the whole barn = 72ft of digging and scraping.
Then getting the water tank, battery, hose, 12volt water pump, pressure washer, (DINNER"S READY I MADE YOU A COUPLE OF BURGERS) Now my gut is a rumbling while I pressure wash the cement off, thinking about 2 burgers that have melted cheese and bacon on top!

ONLY TO GET A TEXT MESSAGE THIS MORNING " Can't make it today-it'll be tomorrow"

( In the contractors defence he and his brother's my electrician and the other being my mechanic took their hogs to a rodeo and pig roast) I suspect that 3 days of hanging around with a 1000 other bikers might have a negative brain cell response to bending over on Monday morning.

OK lets focus on the oil change......
