Right....6 seasons of bull ****, but wait for it........season 7 has the goods :laughing7:

Where did you hear this information if everybody is, as you put it, "tight lipped"?

Next we will be hearing the rumors of the "armored cars" seen heading to the island in the middle of the night...

These rumors have been spread almost every season. One would assume by History Channel or the production crew to try to drum up interest...

I cannot see myself watching this series. I will hang around here and take a look if anything interesting is shown. But I highly doubt it will be....

30+ more episodes of finding old wood and wacko theories of what 'may' be buried there is to much for me....

You point out the logical pitfalls that some succumb to all the time. They go like this:

All proven historical claims are documented.
The Sinclair and Zeno narratives are documented.
Therefore.....and that is where we must end the deductive reasoning trail because the necessary form of syllogism is not respected to allow a valid conclusion. The second assertion necessarily needs to point to the argument relating to "all proven historical claims" for valid deductive reasoning to apply. If the second assertion was "the Sinclair and Zeno narratives are proven historical claims" then we could properly deduce they are documented. There is no logical way to conclude from the starting assertions that the Zeno and Sinclair narratives are proven because they are documented. It suffices to say that the form of syllogism is not respected and that no conclusions can be made by deductive reasoning.. Anyone can go back to the origins of geometry and Euclid to refresh themselves about how to deal with statements with logic. Geometry is the practice of dealing with statements to describe shapes.
A form of inductive reasoning could be attempted, but only if we were given information about how likely the link is that any documented story is true. Without a sense of that inductive reasoning demands that we determine how likely it is that a story is true based on the fact it has documents associated with it. My feeling is that this is very low. The inductive argument is therefore very weak.

There is no logical way to conclude that "Prince Zichmni" of the Zeno narrative is Jarl Henry Sinclair of Orkney, AND most important, there is NO contemporary medieval. outside if the Zeno collaborating that the story contained therein actually occurred. NONE.
The same can be stated about Muir's "found" Sinclair journals- these journals are NOT original contemporary medieval journals, but copies of ALLEGED by Muir of contemporary medieval journals, and neither work proves the other as being true.

Let's see.... I've got boxes of treasure and I find an uninhabited island. Sooo, do I take 50 - 100 men (who will know the location) and dig 173' down with shovels (If that was even possible) and dig water traps to bury it (how do you dig sideways 73' down?) knowing it will take at least that many to dig it back up or do I have a few men dig down 6' and bury it so when I come back it will be easy to get? 3' or 173'...... It doesn't matter because back then no one would find it either way. Let's get some common sense here... This is all BS..... The black guy found a box or 2 3' - 6' deep and lived a good life and that was proven. Everything else is.... all speculation.... and BS... and you are all falling for the trap...

freeman, I do not and I have not ever lived in my mom's basement. Maybe you are speaking from experience. I have worked hard my whole life. I own my own home actually two of them with land for more. So do not lay that mom and pop on me. I also do not sit in front of the computer just to listen to everyone chat. I have did my work of putting boots on the ground. I have been chased by bull's in the pastures, I have walked upon sleep walking bears and I have been in some terrible situations out there in the wild. I have had landowners go by me on four wheelers while I was standing behind the only bush on their property. I have been ask to leave property on railroad spur lines and I have seen "No Trespassing" signs everywhere and for the most part I have observed the law. But sometimes things has to be checked out. I am kind of tied up right now due to family situations but when I get relieved I will be back on the trail harder than ever with all the research I now have.

LOL, well one thing we do know is you're no English major.....:laughing7:

Really sad the way education is today.
Educators and teachers do not know the truth so they are left repeating the same false history over and over.
And yet we do not get educated. About like the blind leading the blind.
Everything that is taught in school has been proven to be not true...
Did you expect anything different, Billieg, he has stated time and time again of not being fond of teachers, educators, academics, or professional historians, so that should explain why English was not a major.

Lol, Damn, now I have an image of this guy walking around a park and dramatically gesturing as he reads a poetry book aloud.

...and everybody was dancing in the moonlight!

Then those sleep walking bears woke up and it was Goldilocks time behind that bush! :laughing7:

Haha, he can’t even spell correctly :laughing7:
the correct spelling is “Phaq”

Next time you insult a member over their grammar you can count on a timeout and it will not be short.

That's a pretty clever fairytale that you made up here...
The only problem is that the so-called "Money Pit" is really nothing but a man-made reservoir to hold the water from the Swamp when the Swamps plug is pulled.. And then to refill the Swamp AFTER those who created this ingenious system were done either depositing, or withdrawing the Treasures under the Swamp when they were done doing what they needed to do. This is precisely why the creators of this unique "Bank Vault" didn't even bother trying to hide to "Swamp Water Holding Tank Hole".
