I work on house for a living, and also clean them out when people move or sell, and they leave behind the craziest things, in the last 2 weeks I have pick up a nice tables saw, a power washer, a rotter tiller, and 3 tool boxes full of tools, a tool shed, this has been going on all summer, my garage is full and it's all interfering with my detecting time, haha

Houses here this summer have been selling in less than a day and for way more than asking. I think everyone has been in a hurry to get in or get out. I can see where stuff just gets left behind. Good picking for you though.

I think it a bit pointless to sell when you have to turn around and buy back in at the same inflated costs.

Well, maybe, but in hot markets “starter” homes always sell the fastest and at the highest premium. So if you are moving up, you may gain a little extra by selling your starter. It’s also a good way to dump a house needing lots of repairs since buyers aren’t looking closely, and in some case will take as is to get their offer accepted.

I got tired of my renter's attitude and sold the house (to him) in less than 3 hours. It took two hours for him to get CPR after choking on the price. (Not really, but he paid full appraisal price.) I AM NOT SORRY I SOLD IT.

I know right? I used to buy homes in need of "upgrading" Fix them up flip them! No longer can be done around here now. Prices are insane.
I build custom homes and can not keep up!
