Sorry for son and daughter in law's loss, I know that you cant get those personel items back that you lose but like you said thank God no one was hurt. Please take care and know that I speak for many you are in our thoughts and prayers. WES

That's just a shame... Losing all you're possesions is just devastating. But, hopefully, with them still being young they'll be able to rebuild their lives together and someday be able to turn today's sad reality into a distant memory.

I'm sure starting over will not be easy. But, with the support of family and friends they will get through this...

They (and you) are in all of our thoughts !!!!

Ron, Sorry to hear about this. Thankfully no one was hurt, just remember that material possessions can be replaced and life cannot. Your family will be in my prayers. Also I hope the kitty comes home soon!! All this will work out with time, it has to. Take care!!!

Ron, I don't very often reply to post on here. Most have more detector knowledge and better advise so I just read and learn. But I had to respond by saying our prayers are with your son and his family. Being a father I can imagine how you felt watching your sons house being taken by the fire. It also must be a relief that they were not harmed. So sorry to hear this tragedy happened.

Ron, this is just terrible news.

As everyone has said earlier, it's a blessing that nobody got hurt. Possessions/keepsakes are gone, but your family is not, which is the most important.

I never would have imagined a fire starting in such cold/wet conditions. And over here in S. CA, with all the heat/low humidity the past week, we're just a fire waiting to happen.

The house looked very old, but beautiful. It's a real shame she burned!

My prayers and well wishes are extending to you and your family.
