Cool hand, how much of it is taxes?

I've herd that about 80% of the cost of gasoline in Europe is due the taxes attached per gallon sold. That guy in England should be paying about 1 or 2 pounds per gallon if the government thieves would just keep their hands out of everybodys pocket.

$4.46 Twenty minutes ago in South San Francisco Calif . The other 2 nearby stations were $4.49 and $4.46 . I'm sure that closer to the airport it's probably 20 cents a gallon more .The clowns around here are averaging higher prices than in San Francisco even .

Works out around $11-12 per gallon here. Feel free to stop whining anytime! :tongue3:

$3.39 to $3.42 yesterday in Albuquerque

The beginning of Feb it was $3.33 here in Sin City. Yesterday the local Arco went from $3.65 to $3.69. Not too bad really for a city this size and still far from the $4.18 all-time high we had in 2008. The problem is I go long stretches between fill-ups, sometimes three weeks, so I notice the increase big time. $35 got me just under 10 gallons the last time. :-\

$3.19.9 today for CC, $3.14.9 for cash, today.

Edgemont, South Dakota

Diesel went up 12 cents last night, now $3.99/9 gallon.

Like I mentioned in my post gas will be $5.00 before the office start of summer. I for one even hate the idea, but the magic '8' ball is never wrong :tongue3:

Well in our city a bale of hay is over $5. We gave up on "motor cars" over 100 years ago.
