i don't want to turn this into a chat line but i might be the one that started we don't have that issue but for mobile homes which have heat tape....so no problem
but it still sucks in the winter here in the dakotas......but we don't have any mosquitoes anyhow...or zero bugs.............

Yes, It is very important to keep your pipes warm or they will freeeeeeeeeze!
