Nice! Good to meet you.

Gator...that is a nice Cobia you got there...pretty sure that I had a monster one spool me a few years back in St. Joe Bay!

Ha.. Yeah they're good at that. I had a big spool of 17 pound test silver thread on a jigging rod with a flair hawk jig sitting in the rod holder while I was bottom fishing. During certain times of the year I always keep one handy for those guys. A big manta ray came cruising by I saw at least two with it. I got that one do East of the Saint Lucie nuclear power plant. 43 lbs.

Nice..I always hear that they cruise with the rays...i only get to fish FL maybe once every two years...best I ever caught was a big redfish off an oyster bar near Appalachicola..I'll have to look for a photo of that boy...I didn't weigh it but it was way over the slot...excited because we should be going this July to Cape San Blas...jealous of the fishing you got down there.

I better not get started on fishing here..haha.. I probably won't stop.
I'm surprised I don't have gills by now. I love fishing and surfing down here.. I do alot of snook fishing inshore also.
That's a real nice bass on a fly you've got there.

Nc peaches. Great to meet you. I'm big into finding old bottles too. We have set up all over the house so the lights come through them. Lots of milk bottles and blues. Gator you can talk fishing all day long. I can't believe I haven't been out yet.

Nice to meet you Peaches and East Tn Joe (Gator I have already see you, haha) All welcome additions to artifacts. Here is me yesterday trying to get to a site but the beavers have me foiled :tongue3:

Hi ya'll! I'm a transplanted Georgia peach but have lived in NC for going on 30 years now...here's a couple pics of me with my only Grandson, who btw found the pottery shard that got me to looking a little harder at the creek lol and there's a pic of the rocks on the creek...I've found a lot of old bottles there but anymore what I find is broken glass and it's kinda sad since I am a collector of old bottles.

I am digging a bottle dump right now. They are such fun to collect. I actually have to many to ever display. We have a really good bottle section here on t-net with some great people.

When you put the traps out for them do you put them in the water or on the shore? Beaver traps get set where I hunt at is the reason I ask. I dont want to find any on my feet.
